KORSAARI BOAT CROSSING

Ahoy, Boats on the Road!

There is all kinds of traffic on the roads of the archipelago. Crossing the road there might even be a boat! In Korsaari there is a level crossing for boats to cross the road. At this point boats can be moved from the sea to the freshwater basin and back again, using a special sledge that is pulled along rails. So be careful when you reach Korsaari – remember to look left, look right and then look left again!
