The Velhovesi Ring Road encircles the freshwater basin in the northern part of the Uusikaupunki archipelago. The main route is around 50 km long. Smaller side routes lead to the turnaround points at Lepäistentie and Lyökintie, to Pyhämaa church village, to Pitkäluoto point and to the area of the Männäinen ironworks.
The map brochure and the website for the route both show numbered vantage points, rest places, swimming beaches, places of interest and services.
Ring Road brochures are available at the camping area information point and from the town’s tourist information office. Electrically assisted bicycles are also available to rent from both information points. Canoes are also available to rent from the camping area for canoeing trips.
