Booking baby swimming  will change at the turn of the year. We are introducing a seasonal fee, which is €90 for the spring season (+ admission fee for adults, paid separately each time). This change is due to our groups being full, but not all those who reserved a baby swimming time have utilized it, causing interested parties to miss out. 

Enrollments via email at uimahalli@uusikaupunki.fi. When enrolling, please provide family contact information, as well as the baby's date of birth and name. We will send emails to families who have secured a swimming spot. Swimming spots are allocated by age group. If you haven't received an email, you are on the waiting list. Groups are filled in the order of enrollment. Swim sessions are on Saturdays from January 13 to May 25 (excluding March 30) from 9 am to 12 pm. Enrollments by December 31, 2023. 

Once you receive a confirmation, the seasonal fee is paid on the first swimming session. After this, any absences do not need to be reported, and they will not be refunded, except for cancellations caused by the swimming hall. 

If you are a new baby swimmer, please mention it during enrollment. We will send an information package to families who have secured a swimming spot. We do not organize separate baby swimming info sessions.

 Mon-Tue Oct 16th-17th and Thu-Fri Oct 19th-20th

2 pm – 3 pm Technique group

(technique group has a 25 meter swimming skill requirement)

4.30 pm to 5.30 pm Beginners group

5.30 pm to 6.30 pm Beginners group

• Ten children per class.
• Beginners swimming classes have no swimming skill requirements.
• Swimming classes cost 32€.
• Age limit for classes is 5 years old before start of classes.
• The scheduled time is time spent in the pool area. Guardians escort the child to and from the pool area.

Registration for classes through Vello on October 2nd 2023 11 am.

• Twenty children are admitted to one group.
• Beginners swimming classes have no swimming skill requirements.

• Age limit for classes is five (5) years old. The child must have turned five years old before the start of classes.
• The scheduled time for the classes is time spent in the pool area, please arrive on time.
• In the beginners classes, the parent or guardian escorts the child to and from the pool area.
