The goal of Uusikaupunki's employment services is to improve the employment situation in the area together with other operators. Employment services are offered to customers of the local government pilot on employment, workshop activities and wage support employment. In addition, in cooperation with social and health services and KELA, Multidisciplinary Joint Service for the Promotion of Employment (TYP Service) and rehabilitative work activities are organized.
Local government pilot on employment
The city of Uusikaupunki is participating in the 2021-2024 local government pilot on employment in the Turku region. The aim of the experiment is to develop the employment support services offered to jobseekers into more individualized services and to improve service guidance and access to services.
