For the unemployed job seeker

The city of Uusikaupunki is participating in the 2021-2024 local government pilot on employment in the Turku region. In the pilot on employment, some of the unemployed jobseekers move from the TE office to clients of the employment services of their home municipality. The transition happens automatically.

Clients of the local government pilot on employment

You are a client of the pilot when you have registered as a job seeker, live in Uusiakaupunki and belong to one of the following groups:

• you are not entitled to earnings allowance, but you receive labor market support or basic allowance from Kela
• your mother tongue is other than Finnish, Swedish or Sámi or your citizenship is other than Finnish

• you are under 30 years old

As a customer of the local government pilot, you get your own employment counselor who will help you in all matters related to your employment.

Registration as an unemployed job seeker

You can register as unemployed in Job Market's E-services. In E-services you can also make changes related to your job search and tasks agreed with the employment counselor.
