Municipal Archives

Uusikaupunki municipal archive represents the town's central archiving system in which all long-term and permanently stored documents related to the City's operations are stored.

The municipal archive is responsible for managing the information services relative to the stored documents as well as for developing and coordinating the City’s archives as part of the management of the City’s documents.

The archive provides the town’s service centres contributing to the creation of the archive with guidance and advice on different archive-related operations and document management.
