Cultural grants
Do you work in the cultural field? The City of Uusikaupunki wants to support local cultural actors in order to maintain an active cultural setting in Uusikaupunki.
Every year, the Uusikaupunki welfare and leisure board grants a number of subsidies to cultural actors with the aim of promoting and diversifying cultural activities in Uusikapunki. These include amateur and professional art, art services and a wide choice of content, with an emphasis on the local community and on nurturing the local cultural tradition. For example the following actors may apply for a grant:
- orchestras
- choirs
- theatre groups
- visual arts organisations
- village associations
- individual operators
- professional artists
The welfare and leisure board is responsible for allocating the grants.
Grant application period and grant payment
The grants can be applied between 5.3.-10.4.2024. You must send the application form with attachments to the cultural services office by the deadline (preferrably via email).
The grants will be payed by the end of May 2024 to the account number provided by the applicant. Grants applied to private persons will be paid afterwards and receipts for expenses are required.
