Support for teaching social and emotional skills
Work against bullying - prevention and intervention support
An additional resource has been designated with the city funding for work against bullying. Based on feedback from the staff and students, the development target is the schools' ability to act against bullying both preventively and by intervening in conflict situations that arise. At the same time, efforts have been made to emphasize the coordinator's work in a preventive direction, for example designated groups for learning emotional and social skills, support for unifying and recording operating models, and other support for the development of social and emotional skills in student groups.
The purpose of the work is also to pilot Aseman Lapset K-0 work ("unresolved conflicts 0") into a functioning structure in a smaller town. To support the work, the coordinator brings together regional cooperation from entities working with children and young people, and supports the clarification of the ways schools operate.
The basic goal is to support children and young people's opportunities to influence their well-being and sense of security in the school environment.
