Janhua wooden house area

Janhuaniemi is a modern wooden house area in Uusikaupunki. Janhuanniemi is in a unique location, as it is only about a kilometre away from the city centre, yet also right by the sea. While not all the blocks are right by the shore, you can see the sea from all of them. There is a campsite with different services nearby.
Group build your home
The blocks and plots of land in Janhua are implemented as block units that are managed under property companies. They can be built either by a construction company or a group of private builders.
Group construction combines independent construction and contracting. Group construction offers one-time builders the opportunity to acquire a well-built house and plot relatively easily and at a competitive price. You can find out more about group building on the website of the Ryhmärakennuttajat association.
The plan of Janhua includes seven blocks of small residential houses and one row house block. There is also an area reserved for tourism.
The blocks are divided between construction companies and groups formed by private builders who carry out the building work. Resident-owned property companies are then established within each block.
Buildings are incorporated into large blocks where individual sections are administrated collectively. The idea is for all the houses in the area to be made of wood. The area is mainly made up of 2-story semi-detached houses and single-family houses.
Blocks can be bought or rented. When renting, the rent price is 5% of the purchase price and the rental period is 30 years. Prices are based on the January cost-of-living index for the ongoing year.
