There are several exhibition spaces in Uusikaupunki, where you can admire versatile forms of visual art. You can also find art exhibition spaces maintained by the City at the cultural centre Cruselli and in the Uusikaupunki and Kalanti libraries. Uusikaupunki also has some private art galleries.

Liljelund Hall (Cultural Centre Cruselli)
Information for exhibition visitors
The Liljelund hall, located on the ground floor of the cultural centre Cruselli, hosts monthly changing art exhibitions. You can visit the exhibitions during the opening hours of the cultural centre Cruselli, also during other events. Entry to exhibitions is free.
The side door of the cultural centre Cruselli is an accessible entrance.
Information for exhibition organisers
The exhibition space is intended for art enthusiasts and art professionals and it can be reserved for about one month at a time. In addition to standard visual art exhibitions, the space can also be used for other types of cultural activities. Every autumn, the Uusikaupunki cultural services organises a public call for exhibitions in order to create an exhibition calendar for the entire year. You can also inquire about reserving the exhibition space at other times.
The Liljelund hall has been renovated and the lighting renewed in 2020. The hall has fixed hanging equipment for exhibitions, including rails and cables, stands of different sizes, movable screens, and white background boards.
The artist is in charge of writing the introductory text for their exhibition, listing their artworks, as well as for writing the press release, opening invitation and creating an exhibition poster, unless otherwise agreed. The artist also responsible for organising the opening ceremony (programme, catering, etc.). The Uusikaupunki cultural services posts information about exhibitions on the City's website, advertises exhibitions on social media and takes care of the distribution of invitations and posters electronically (the exhibition invitation list includes over 100 e-mail addresses). The Uusikaupunki cultural services is also responsible for supervising the exhibition space and assisting with the hanging and dismantling of exhibitions.
The area of the Liljelund hall is about 325m² and there is about 50 meters of wall space for hanging artwork. The height of the suspension rails varies between about 2-3 meters.
Gallery Kirjava (main library)
The Uusikaupunki library's exhibition hall Gallery Kirjava can be used for small exhibitions. Currently the library's main building is under renovation and Gallery Kirjava is temporarily closed.

Raimon kammari (Kalanti library)
The Raimon kammari exhibition hall in Kalanti library can be used for bigger exhibitions
