Social emergency services

You can contact the social emergency services by calling the national emergency number 112. The service operates Fri–Mon from 4 pm to 8 am, and around the clock on midweek holidays.

Social emergency services are operated jointly by the municipalities of Vakka-Suomi.

Social emergency services provide emergency assistance in child welfare and family crisis situations as well as provides guidance in the social problems of adults. You can contact the social emergency services for example when experiencing domestic violence. The social emergency service staff will make house calls when necessary. The authorities may also direct customers to the social emergency services.
