Youth services organise activities for young people in different kinds of events and in activity-oriented trips and excursions. The excursions/trips are also carried out in co-operation with the youth council.
We inform about the current camps, excursions, and trips on our Facebook and Instagram, in the news section of our website and in local newspapers, etc. So follow us to stay informed!
We also receive feedback and proposals for excursion destinations and events. Get in touch!
Summer Events for Youth
30.5 End-of-School Party Night klo 18–22
Come hang out at the Wintteri Youth Center and celebrate the end of the school year and the start of summer vacation! Ice cream will be served. Welcome to all youth entering 7th grade up to age 17.
1–15.6 Training Sessions for Youth
- 1.6 Boxing
- 8.6 Stair workout
- 15.6 Outdoor gym
Time:
- klo 17–18 for youth entering 7th grade to age 17 years
- klo 18–19 for ages 17–28 years
Meeting point: Wintteri café.
In case of rain, training will take place indoors. The sessions are free and require no registration—just show up!
5.6–17.6 Themed Outdoor Activities

Games at Wintteri outdoor fields (basketball, badminton, outdoor table tennis).

Beach volleyball and picnic at Hiu field.

Yard game competition at Sorvakko outdoor basketball court.

All activities are free and require no registration—just show up!
3.6 Trip to Särkänniemi
A trip to Särkänniemi for youth entering 7th grade to age 17 years.
Price: €42 (includes amusement park entry, rides, Doghill Animal Park, Aquarium, Planetarium, and Näsinneula tower). Meals are at your own expense.
Maximum 50 participants.
Registration period: 11.5–29.5.2026. Registration link.

10.6 Bike Trip to Karhuluoto
For youth from 5th grade to age 17 yers.
The bike trip is approximately 15 km. Snacks and light activities will be provided at the destination.
Maximum 20 participants.
Registration period: 25.5–5.6. Registration link.
Please note: Swimming is entirely at your own risk.
18.6 klo 13–16 Midsummer Pre-Party
Let’s celebrate Midsummer together at the Wintteri yard! We’ll grill, play yard games, and enjoy pancakes. No registration required. For youth entering 7th grade to age 17.
23–25.6 Statue Project
Come create art!
Uusikaupunki Youth Services is looking for seven young people to participate in a statue project.
The project will take place 23–25.6 klo 13–16. Participants must commit to all project days.
During the project, participants will explore Uusikaupunki’s “hide-and-seek trail” and create new bronze statues for the route.
Application period: 1–14.6. Application link
Applicants must be 12–20 years old.
Seven participants of different ages will be selected, prioritizing those with little work experience and those without summer jobs in 2026.
Participants will receive a certificate and a €50 reward. Light snacks will be provided during the project.
7.8 Day for 7th Graders at Wintteri Youth Center
A special day for upcoming 7th graders at the Wintteri Youth Center. Get to know your future classmates, hang out, and explore the Wintteri´s facilities together. Snacks will be provided. No registration required.
