Youth events

Youth services organise activities for young people in different kinds of events and in activity-oriented trips and excursions. The excursions/trips are also carried out in co-operation with the youth council.
We inform about the current camps, excursions, and trips on our Facebook and Instagram, in the news section of our website and in local newspapers, etc. So follow us to stay informed!

We also receive feedback and proposals for excursion destinations and events. Get in touch!

Picnic for gender minorities youth group 5.6.2024

Picnic for young people ages 12 and up. The Picnic is aimed at members of sexual and gender minorities and their friends. The group will meet at the Myllymäki, Uusikaupunki 5.6.2024 from 16.00 to 18.00. Food will be served but you can also bring your own snacks. No alcohol or energy drinks allowed. If it rains we will have the picnic indoors at the Youth house, Vantti (Vuorikatu 11).

Beach day for new 7th graders 6.6.2024

Beach day for the future seventh graders at the Santtio, Kalalokkikuja 14. Come to the beach 6.6.2024 from 12.00 to 15.00 and get to know your classmates. Beach day includes games and picnic, but you can also bring your own snacks. Swim at your own risk. If it rains we will meet at the Youth house, Vantti (Vuorikatu 11). The event is organised together with student welfare and youth worker from Pyhämaa.

Santtiofest 7.6.2024

Free festival for all young people ages 12 and up at the Santtio beach, Friday 7.6.2024 from 18.00 to 21.00. (address: Kalalokkikuja 14.) Come to see the superstar MÄKKI and listening music with your friends. Santtiofest has also many activities like a sledgehammer, a boxing game and Nuva lounge. No alcohol or energy drinks allowed. 

The event is organised together with Youth Council called "Nuva", Youth Services, Santtioranta camping, NIKO-toiminta and The Finnish Red Cross.

Särkänniemi Amusement Park 19.6.2024

Särkänniemi trip with youth services for new 7th graders to college people. The event can accommodate up to 40 people. Bus trip is free but the entry to Särkänniemi Amusement Park cost 35€. Everyone will pay for their own meal. No alcohol or energy drinks allowed.

Advance registration is open from 1 th  of May to 10th of June.

Departure from Tampere at 17.00. 

Bookbus 25.6. and 2.7.2024

Bookbus is going to Lokalahti and Pyhämaa with youth leaders. There will be games and summer activities. 

Lokalahti school yard, Tuesday 25.6. from 15.00 to 18.00.

Pyhämaa school yard, Tuesday 2.7. from 15.00 to 18.00.

Paintball 27.6.2024

Paintball for new 7th graders to 17 years of age, at the Häähäntie 835, Kalanti.

Thursday 27.6.2024 from 13.00 to 15.00. 

The event can accommodate up to 20 players, and advance registration is open from 1 th of May to 18th of June. The games will be held if there are at least 12 people registered. The game fee is 15€ per person.

Kalanti: for new 6th graders to 17 years of age. Wednesday 26.6. & 3.7. & 10.7. from 14.00 to 16.00. 

Vantti: for new 6th graders to 17 years of age. Monday 24.6. & 1.7. & 8.7. from 18.00 to 21.00. 

Night at the Youth Centre "Vantti" 4.7-5.7

Come along and spend a night at the Youth Centre Vantti on Thursday 4.7 from 20.00 to 5.7 09:00 (Vuorikatu 11). The event is for new 6th graders to 17 years of age. Binding registrations via Webpropol 30.5-27.6: https://link.webropolsurveys.com/EP/7C129F154504CDD2

Breakfast and supper is offered but you can take own snacks also. Take a mattress, blanket and pillow. Also you need to know that it is not allowed to leave from youth house if you participate. At the youth house need to follow rules: no alcohol, nicotine products or energy drinks or inapporiate behavior. We take contact for guardians before the event or if the rules are not followed.
