The area includes a campfire and outdoor toilet.
The Kasarminlahti bivouacs is located at a comfortable walking distance, south of the city centre. You can walk there from the parking lot of the sports field along a marked trail, the distance being about 2.5 km. The Vionpuhti campfire site is also close by, about 3.8 km from the parking lot. On snowy days you can also ski to the bivouacs.
