Dental health care services are provided for all inhabitants, regardless of their age. Dental health care is free of charge for people under the age of 18.

Evening, weekend and midweek holiday emergency duty at the regional emergency services of the Hospital District of Southwest Finland. Address: Tyks, joint emergency services of the T-hospital, Savitehtaankatu 1, Turku.

Emergency services are sought by booking an appointment by phone on the same day on weekdays from 3.30–6.00 pm and on Saturdays, Sundays and midweek holidays from 9.00–11.00 am. The appointment booking number is +358 2 3131 564. During other times outside office hours, advice and referral to treatment in the case of an acute condition is available from the emergency advice line of the T-hospital: +358 2 313 8800.

The dental health care emergency service at T-hospital is meant for essential emergency dental care. Patients that do not meet the criteria for emergency care will be directed elsewhere. For example a chipped tooth of filling is not considered to require emergency care.
