Mobile library

Kuvassa on kirjastoauto kuvattuna talvella.

The mobile library serves users living in smaller villages and also delivers books to schools in Lokalahti, Pyhämaa, Hakametsä, Saarnisto and Pohitulli. The mobile library stops at the evening stops on Thursdays.

The mobile library carries around 4,500 books, magazines, CDs and videos. The decorative painting of the mobile library was done by artist Juhani Taivaljärvi.

The Uusikaupunki library, Kalanti library and the mobile library share the same collection and you can reserve material in any of the three libraries. Reserved material is delivered at least twice a week to the desired pick-up point.
