Partainen mies, jolla päässään karvalakki jossa poronsarvet. Miehen kädessä keppi, jolla hän valmistautuu lyömään.

A Joyful and Lush Story of Reidar Särestöniemi, the great artist of Lapland who was an enigma to the art world and a money-loving communist. Rosa Liksom's "Reitari" is the most hilarious biography ever written. The story depicts the rise of a poor country boy to a creator of powerful paintings and a world traveler who also knew how to celebrate his life. The performance features the author's humorous narration, and through 60 roles, 10 actors tell the story of the world that fueled the artist's works. In Reidar's paintings, the spirits and nature of Lapland beckon the viewer. His brother envied him, his mother understood him, and the art circles shunned him. The Ateneum bought only one piece, even though he is one of the most well-known Finnish artists of the late 20th century. Only now are these valuable paintings being appreciated and sought after worldwide, even though during his lifetime, Reidar yearned most for this—recognition from the art world for his work. The play is performed in Finnish.
