What, where, when?
On Saturday, August 17, 2024, Night of the Arts event will be held in Uusikaupunki! Night of the Arts events are culture-driven and evening-oriented happenings held in different parts of Finland. In Uusikaupunki, the Night of the Arts will kick off in the afternoon with various events around the city center, and as the day turns into evening, the program will focus on Myllymäki, where the event will end at midnight. Come and enjoy the beautiful late summer night with art and good company!

General information about Myllymäki
- Restrooms are available behind the Old Water Tower during the event.
- There will be no food sales at the event, so we encourage you to bring picnic blankets and some snacks.
- All of the happenings at Myllymäki will end by midnight.
- Do not park your car in the immediate vicinity of Myllymäki, so that the access routes remain open for residents and, if necessary, emergency vehicles.
- Please remember that consuming alcohol in public places is prohibited.
Want to perform?
The Night of the Arts welcomes both playful and deep performances. Bringing your own acoustic instruments, juggling equipment, and other creative tools is allowed and even encouraged! Myllymäki has space for spontaneous performances like dancing, acrobatics, poetry recitation, and music. However, please keep safety and others in mind.
