Cruise day itinerary The cruise departs at 10:30 AM from behind Pakkahuone guest marina in Uusikaupunki. The sea journey begins leisurely, passing impressive yacht harbors. The sea voyages are made on the passenger ship M/S Kerttu, which has cozy and warm interiors with a café (with full liquor license) and plenty of space on the sun deck to enjoy the day at sea.

The journey to the island is an experience in itself. You will see the beautiful nature of the inner archipelago and the vast open sea of the Bothnian Sea, while enjoying refreshments such as coffee and cake or a cold drink. You will also see plenty of birds and maritime markers, and the guided tour during the sea voyage will introduce you to the archipelago's nature and sights. The sea journey takes about 1.5 hours.

On Isokari: The guided tour starting from the harbor will introduce you to the island's nature, history, and of course, the lighthouse itself. The lighthouse is still an operational maritime safety device, and entry to the lighthouse is guided. To reach the lantern room at the top and admire the lighthouse's lens system, you have to climb nearly 180 steps, but the tower is an impressive sight even when viewed from the beautiful lighthouse meadow.

The cruise price includes Kerttu's lunch, which is served at Isokari's Kasarmi Restaurant Mainio. In addition to the shared cruise program (guided island tour, lighthouse visit, lunch), you will have time to pet sheep, take a swim, and enjoy coffee and cake on the idyllic summer terrace. The island's vegetation, birdlife, architecture, and ship traffic off the island offer plenty to see and explore independently for all ages.

The cruises are weather dependent: strong winds prevent navigation to Isokari. The wind limit for the cruise is about 15 m/s depending on the wind direction. If the cruise has to be canceled due to weather conditions, those who have booked tickets will be notified the day before the cruise. In case of extreme weather, the cruise will not be charged, and no compensation will be paid for the cancellation.

You can transfer your reservation to another day without a service fee. The transfer must be made at least 3 days before the cruise day. If the transfer is made to a cruise day with a different price, the price difference will be refunded/charged on the ship.

You can cancel your reservation free of charge 7 days before the trip. If the reservation is canceled within a week or less of the cruise, or if the reservation is not redeemed at all, the reserved cruise spots will be charged in full. Please review the booking and payment terms before making a reservation.
