Cruise Day Itinerary The cruise departs at 10:30 AM from behind the Pakkahuone guest marina in Uusikaupunki. The sea journey begins slowly, passing impressive yacht harbors. The sea voyage is undertaken on the passenger ship M/S Kerttu, which has cozy and warm indoor spaces with a café (fully licensed) and plenty of space on the sun deck to enjoy the day at sea.

The journey to the island is an experience in itself. You can see the beautiful nature of the inner archipelago and the open Selkämeri Sea while enjoying refreshments such as coffee and pastries or a cold drink. Along the way, you'll see plenty of birds and marine markers, and onboard guidance will introduce you to the archipelago's nature and attractions. The sea journey takes about 1.5 hours.

Upon arrival at Isokari: The guided tour starting from the harbor introduces the island's nature, history, and of course, the lighthouse itself. The lighthouse is still an active maritime navigational aid, and admission to the lighthouse is guided. To reach the lantern room and admire the lighthouse lens, you must climb nearly 180 steps, but the tower is an impressive sight even from the beautiful lighthouse meadow.

The lunch included in the cruise price is served at Isokari's Kasarmiravintola Mainio. In addition to the joint cruise program (guided island tour, lighthouse visit, lunch), you'll have time to pet the sheep, take a swim, and enjoy coffee and pastries on the idyllic summer terrace. The island's vegetation, birdlife, architecture, and maritime traffic in front of the island offer plenty to see and explore for all ages.

Cruises are weather-dependent: Strong winds prevent travel to Isokari. The wind limit for the cruise is about 15 m/s, depending on the wind direction. If the cruise must be canceled due to weather conditions, ticket holders will be notified the day before the cruise. In the event of overpowering weather, the cruise will not be charged, and no compensation will be paid for its cancellation.

You can reschedule your booking to another day without a service fee. The change must be made at least three days before the cruise date. If the change is to a differently priced cruise day, the price difference will be refunded/charged on the ship.

You can cancel your reservation free of charge up to seven days before the trip. If the reservation is canceled with a week or less notice, or if the reservation is not redeemed at all, the reserved cruise places will be charged in full. Please review the booking and payment terms before making a reservation.
