Tickets can be purchased at Merikauppa Isokari. Tickets can also be inquired and purchased on the day of departure from the ship. Changes possible; check the latest departure dates at Merikauppa Isokari.

Cruise Day: The cruise departs at 10:30 AM from behind the Uusikaupunki Pakkahuone guest harbor. The journey begins leisurely past impressive marinas. The sea voyage is aboard the passenger vessel M/S Kerttu, which features cozy and warm interiors, a café (fully licensed), and ample space on the sun deck to enjoy the day at sea.

The journey to the island itself is an experience. You'll see the beautiful nature of the inner archipelago and the vast open sea of the Bothnian Sea, enjoying the trip with a cup of coffee and a bun or a cold drink. The trip features abundant birdlife and sea markers, with guidance during the voyage introducing the archipelago nature and sights. The sea voyage duration is about 1.5 hours.

On Isokari: The guided tour from the harbor introduces the island's nature, history, and, of course, the lighthouse itself. The lighthouse is still an operational navigational aid, and entry to the lighthouse is guided. To reach the lantern room and admire the lighthouse lens, you'll need to climb nearly 180 steps, but the tower is an impressive sight even from the beautiful lighthouse meadow.

The included Kerttu's lunch is served at Isokari's Kasarmi Restaurant Mainio. In addition to the shared cruise program (guided island tour, lighthouse visit, lunch), you have time to pet the sheep, swim, and enjoy coffee and pastries on the idyllic summer terrace. The island's vegetation, birdlife, architecture, and ship traffic off the island offer plenty to see and explore for all ages.

Weather Conditions: Strong winds prevent navigation to Isokari. The wind limit for the cruise is about 15 m/s depending on the wind direction. If the cruise must be canceled due to weather conditions, ticket holders will be notified the day before the cruise. In the event of adverse weather, the cruise is not charged, and no compensation is paid for the cancellation.

Reservations can be rescheduled to another day without a service fee. Rescheduling must be done at least 3 days before the cruise date. If rescheduled to a different priced cruise day, the price difference will be refunded/charged on the ship.

Reservations can be canceled without charge 7 days before the trip. If the reservation is canceled with a week or less before the cruise, or if the reservation is not redeemed, the reserved cruise seats will be charged in full. Please review the reservation and payment terms before making a reservation.
