The City of Uusikaupunki is conducting a telephone interview with the help of robotics, the aim of which is to involve the citizens of Uusikaupunki in the planning and development of the future of Uusikaupunki. We have conducted an online survey in English for citizens that speak foreign languages, because the Uusikaupunki telephone robot only operates in Finnish. The responses to the survey will be used to help update the city’s strategy.

A total of 213 Corona virus (COVID-19) infections have been confirmed during the pandemic in the five municipalities in our local area. Uusikaupunki 175 infections, Vehmaa 13, Taivassalo 5, Kustavi 5, Pyhäranta 15.
 
The origins of the infection are not traceable in all cases. Therefore, it is essential to comply with the restrictions and safety instructions in force. Please remember that it is highly recommended to wear masks in all public places, and to maintain safe distances of 2 meters between you and others.

A total of 186 coronavirus infections have been identified during the pandemic within in the five municipalities in this region. Uusikaupunki 153 infections, Pyhäranta 14, Vehmaa 11, Taivassalo 5.

Corona infections are being confirmed in the region daily. In the last two weeks, more than 30 new infections have been diagnosed in Uusikaupunki. The need for hospital care has increased throughout the province, which has become a bit of a challenge for healthcare in this area.

• you are on your way to take a coronavirus test or are waiting for the test results and have an urgent reason to spend time outside your home
