Emergency duty
Emergency health care services are meant for emergencies. Emergency services mean treatment that cannot be postponed overnight. Patients are treated according to a triage process determined by a healthcare professional.
On weekdays from 8 am – 4 pm, the health centre in your area is on-call. Book an appointment in your own health centre. Appointment bookings from 8 am – 3 pm.

N.B. Emergency Duty in Kustavi and Taivassalo Outside Office Hours
Outside office hours, on weekends and religious holidays, the emergency services of the Taivassalo and Kustavi Health Centres shift to the Turku joint regional emergency services in Tyks T-hospital at Savitehtaankatu 1, Turku, tel. +358 (2) 313 8800.
Children with an earache are treated in the Uusikaupunki Health Centre on weekdays from 8.00–9.00 am without the need to book an appointment.
If your child complains about ear pain in the evening or during the night, you may bring him/her to a doctor’s appointment to the Uusikaupunki Health Centre at 8.00 am the following morning without the need to book an appointment, just register at the patients’ office of the Health Centre (1st floor). Remember to use painkillers for pain relief.
