The Venetian celebration in Uusikaupunki on Saturday, August 31, 2024

On the last Saturday of August, Uusikaupunki traditionally celebrates the end of the summer season. The event begins during the day at the Venetian Market, with evening celebrations continuing around the Kaupunginlahti area, at Pakkahuone, and in the restaurants. The evening will be crowned with a fireworks display.

Around 10:00 PM, a spectacular fireworks display with environmentally friendly fireworks will light up the darkening evening sky over Kaupunginlahti. The Venetian fireworks are provided by Bar M'Uki, Bistro Bay, Captain's Makasiini, Karilla Oy/Pakkahuone, Restaurant Luode, Restaurant Wiku, Lounaisrannikon Osuuspankki, and Visit Uusikaupunki.
