Cruise

The cruise departs at 10:30 AM from behind the Pakkahuone Guest Marina in Uusikaupunki. The journey begins with views of impressive marinas. The sea voyages are carried out on the passenger vessel M/S Kerttu, which features cozy and warm interiors, a café (with full serving rights), and plenty of space on the sun deck to enjoy a day at sea.

The journey to the island is an experience in itself. You'll see the beautiful nature of the inner archipelago and the vastness of the Bothnian Sea, enjoying the trip with a coffee and pastry or a cold drink. The journey offers views of many birds and sea marks, and the guided commentary introduces the archipelago's nature and sights. The sea voyage lasts approximately 1.5 hours.

On Isokari:

The guided tour starts from the harbor and introduces you to the island's nature, history, and the lighthouse itself. The lighthouse is still an operational navigational aid, and entry is guided. To reach the lantern room to admire the lighthouse's lens, you'll need to climb nearly 180 steps, but the tower is impressive even when viewed from the beautiful lighthouse meadow.

The Kerttu lunch included in the cruise price is served at Kasarmiravintola Mainio on Isokari. In addition to the common cruise program (guided island tour, visit to the lighthouse, lunch), you have time to pet the sheep, take a swim, and enjoy a coffee and pastry on the idyllic summer terrace. The island's flora, fauna, architecture, and the ship traffic off the coast offer plenty to see and explore for all ages.

Weather Conditions:

Strong winds can prevent travel to Isokari. The wind limit for the cruise is around 15 m/s, depending on the wind direction. If the cruise has to be canceled due to weather conditions, those who have booked tickets will be informed the day before. If the cruise is canceled due to force majeure, there will be no charge, nor will compensation be paid for the cancellation.

You can reschedule your reservation to another day without a service fee. The change must be made at least 3 days before the cruise date. If rescheduling to a day with a different price, the difference will be refunded/charged on the ship.

Cancellations can be made free of charge up to 7 days before the trip. If the reservation is canceled within a week or less, or if the reservation is not claimed, the reserved cruise seats will be charged in full. Please read the booking and payment terms before making a reservation.
