A total of 213 Corona virus (COVID-19) infections have been confirmed during the pandemic in the five municipalities in our local area. Uusikaupunki 175 infections, Vehmaa 13, Taivassalo 5, Kustavi 5, Pyhäranta 15.
The origins of the infection are not traceable in all cases. Therefore, it is essential to comply with the restrictions and safety instructions in force. Please remember that it is highly recommended to wear masks in all public places, and to maintain safe distances of 2 meters between you and others.
The differences in the infection rates reported by the National Institute for Health and Welfare (THL) and the city, are because THL’s statistics on Coronavirus (COVID-19) infections are determined on a different basis than the local infection rates/numbers.
