The beautiful natural setting of the town is ideal for all kinds of outdoor activities. The clear waters and beautiful islands of the Bothnian Sea National Park provide an excellent location for outings, fishing, boating, and water sports. The town also has a professional level basketball team, Korihait, and many other active sports teams. You can also find a public swimming pool, a golf course, a horse-riding school, ski tunnel, and many gyms and fitness centres.
